Responsibilities
Our Sr Reliability Engineer will facilitate the implementation of the Wood Products reliability strategy across our manufacturing operations to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment and processes. They'll lead on-site growth of reliability concepts to improve the maintenance organization and to design and implement long-term continuous improvement systems. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: leading the implementation and maintenance of equipment standards, processes, and work practices; facilitates RCAs/FMEAs and solution implementation as needed, conduct equipment criticality ranking, build BOMs for equipment, centerline equipment, and optimizing preventative maintenance; track and report performance against desired results; demonstrating strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement; and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

This role also leads a team of reliability engineers. They'll institutionalize the use of such tools and methods as RCA, RCM, PM development, operator basic care, predictive analysis, vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, and other condition monitoring technologies.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, reliability, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience leading large manufacturing operations. Demonstrated and proven success in a Maintenance Department supervisory, leadership role. Ability to comprehend mechanical, electrical and reliability systems in a manufacturing environment. Effective communicator with experience in leading cultural change efforts. Overall business operations knowledge required to investigate and improve safety, quality, production output, operating costs, and waste/recovery. Ability to meet travel requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree a plus. Prefer more than 10 years of experience in related job function. Experience working with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) such as Maximo. Specific knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance and associated tools. Understanding of TO calculations and BIC metrics a plus. Certified in techniques and tools for process improvement (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above). Prior experience in Wood Products manufacturing operations.
