Main Duties & Responsibilities
This position is responsible for constructing prototype and limited production wiring harnesses. Performs quality work checks to ensure product meets quality standards and works in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Qualifications/Experience:
Be
able to read and follow wiring schematics.
Must
understand basic electrical wiring, how to properly connect wire and the how to
select proper types of connectors required.
Must
understand how the harness fits into the overall operation of the engine
required.
Must
be able to read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering
drawings, specifications, bill of material, and other written instructions or
procedures to accurately assemble products.
Be
detailed oriented.
Previous
experience using hand tools
Previous
experience working with or assembling wiring harnesses preferred.
Will
be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Qualifications
Qualification/Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Mechanical or wiring knowledge required
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual
Ability to interpret technical instructions in diagram form
Organizational skills (multi-tasking ability)
Experienced using hand-tools
Business maturity, a positive attitude and a professional demeanor
This person must be dependable and conscientious
Essential Duties:
Stand for extended hours
Reach, bend, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, grasp and fine finger manipulation
Read and comprehend work and assembly instructions
Ability to use hand tools
Accurately distinguish wire colors
Communicate clearly with other employees in both written and verbal communications.

Business Hours: 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday
