Job Description

Dewberry Architects is seeking an Architect Professional with Healthcare, Education, or Public Safety experience as well as 5-10 years of experience to work in the Tulsa, OK office.

Must be a self-starter, good communicator and someone that ask questions and wants to learn more about architecture and client relationships. Ideally this person will understand technical details of putting buildings together and be able to maintain design intent while offering design improvement and collaboration through the process. Needs to take minimal instruction and go forward with projects or project components as required for their assigned portion of the project. This person should have the ability to relate project information between clients, consultants, internal team, and contractors. Should have the desire to understand full project information from design through construction. Our primary focus is in healthcare, justice and higher education and your experience in those project types would be a plus.

Responsibilities
    Documenting and detailing project design within Revit BIM
  • Assist in material and product selection as well assist with specifications
  • Client engagement and interaction
  • Meet deadlines and assist team to keep schedules
  • Construction Administration responsibilities including field reports, shop drawing review, RFI responses and pay application.
  • Meet corporate QA guidelines and processes
  • Other work as may be assigned.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • A Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited university with a minimum of five years of experience required.
  • Seeking team members that desire Professional Registration if not currently registered.

Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
