Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Manual and CNC machining, setting up and operating machine tools, lathes, and milling machines.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in reading/interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in making standard machine shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- The ability to do all the above with minimal supervision.
- Sheet metal and fabrication experience.
- Vocational education.
- 5S and Lean manufacturing knowledge.
- Manual machining experience.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
- This job operates in a machine shop environment.
- Expect loud machine noises and general dust in the work area.
- Must have the ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Stand for up to 30 minutes while operating a machine.
- Must be able to work overtime.
