PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Work under the direction of a Foreman. Individual must possess a high level of skill in the industrial maintenance/turnaround/construction/or mechanical environment. Positions are project based and lean to short term, fast paced schedules.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".
• Always represents the Company with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".
• Able to assemble and disassemble refinery equipment
• Perform duties within a precise limit or standard of accuracy (Quality Control).
• May be required to work from drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiently run several types of equipment (forklifts, manlifts, etc.)
• Must be able to perform Turnaround duties when required.
• Must be able to work independently after being properly directed by a foreman and lead Helpers and Laborers through the job safely.
• Must know how to select the proper tools and equipment to complete a job.
• Must work well with supervision.
• May be required to train and supervise apprentices.
• Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of four (4) years or more in refinery maintenance experience. Good understanding of boilermaker/mechanical/turnaround type work and knowledge of basic hand tools. Must be able to pass a Craft proficiency test at or above 80% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft. Complete the Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client/Site specific training. Must obtain and maintain an active status within the appropriate drug testing program. TWIC card (or ability to obtain) if preferred.
